The Wirtz Corporation began doing business in Sparks, Nevada in April 1987, under the name of Silver State Liquor & Wine. The Mission Statement of the Wirtz Corporation and Silver State Liquor is to be the leader in the wholesale distribution of spirits and wine.

Our mission is to continually improve our sales and service to meet our suppliers' and customers' needs allowing us to prosper as an individual business and provide a reasonable return to ownership. We sell only premium and regional brands through a highly trained sales staff and specialized marketing organization.
